Neutering, feeding, and veterinary care for feline colonies in Paphos
We are a small self-funded operation based in Paphos, Cyprus. We are committed to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), regular feeding, and providing essential veterinary care for stray cats. Driven by our passion for feline welfare, we aim to make a positive impact in their lives.
Our mission for 2024 is to attain official charity status, paving the way for an expanded network of operation.
Yes we do. The best way to support our cause is by sponsoring a cat in our online store. We also accept direct donations via PayPal.
We diligently adhere to veterinary guidelines in our TNR procedures. Cats chosen for neutering are typically over 6 months old and weigh 2kg or more. We refrain from neutering mothers actively nursing their litters. It's important to note that certain images on our Facebook page may showcase kittens during the discovery stage. The displayed pictures could be several weeks older than the reported month in which the procedure took place. We appreciate your understanding as our time is limited, and in any case, kittens are adorable to look at! We want to emphasize our commitment to responsible practices of never performing TNR on underage cats, or disrupting the natural feeding cycle of litters.
Our TNR procedure involves using professional-grade spring or drop traps to safely capture stray cats. After capture, the cats are transferred to cages, fully covered with sheets, and transported to the vet for neutering. Post-surgery, they spend at least 24 hours in a covered transfer cage within a holding pen, providing a safe and stress-free environment for recovery. This period includes access to food and water, protection from the elements, and isolation from other cats. Once fully recovered, we release the cats back into their colonies.
At this time, our focus is on our existing feline colonies, and while we'd love to offer more services, our small operation limits our capacity. We appreciate your understanding as we work towards expanding our reach. Rest assured, our dedication to the well-being of stray cats in Paphos, remains unwavering.
